The Experience

Coffee on the balcony,
a sunrise swim on the roof,
and the quiet side of town.

Morning mist lifts off the jungle while you sip coffee on your private balcony, with the Pacific shimmering just beyond the treetops.

The rooftop infinity pool opens at 6am, early enough to catch the sunrise over the Pacific before Sayulita, Nayarit, stirs. Up top there is also a BBQ grill, an outdoor kitchen, yoga mats, lounge chairs, and a hammock, with panoramic ocean, pool, and jungle views. Pool hours are 6am to noon daily.

Inside, the full kitchen has a gas stove, oven, blender, toaster, and drip coffee maker, with unlimited bottled water included. The bed is a US queen, five inches longer than a standard Mexican queen, dressed in Egyptian cotton sheets, with room-darkening shades, split AC, and a ceiling fan.

The North Side is a quieter residential area elevated above town, breezy and peaceful, and walkable to everything. The main beach is about a 10 minute walk and the town center about 8, with taco stands, galleries, mezcalerias, and the Friday tianguis market along the way.

Claim a lounge chair by the infinity edge and let the morning pool session become the best part of your day.

"Where do I even begin. My trip ended up being a solo adventure and this space was absolute perfection. Quiet at night, a safe and walkable route into town, and all the amenities needed to cook and stay at the villa. The rooftop pool was heaven to read at and, in all honesty, I am writing this at the airport and already looking at dates to rebook."

"We had an amazing stay! John and Shawn were excellent hosts, providing a ton of information before we arrived including local recommendations, entry details and house rules. When we arrived we found the place to be exactly the same as the photos. Modern, cozy and clean. The place is in a great location, separated from the noise but still very walkable. We would not hesitate to book again!"

"This place is spot on! Sayulita can be a very busy town. It was so nice to have a peaceful place to recharge and relax when needed. The view from up of above is one of a kind! We can't wait to visit again! 100% recommended!"

"John and Shawn are amazing hosts. The place was gorgeous and we felt right at home. We liked being slightly out of the main area and really loved being surrounded by nature. Great spot."
